I am Hercules

Privacy policy

Last updated November 2026.

This policy explains how I, Dr Hercules Kollias, collect, use and protect personal information through iamhercules.com. I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What I collect

I only collect what you choose to send me through the forms on this site: your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), your message, and the topic you select. If you join the Desert Medicine waitlist, I collect your email address, your name if you give it, and whether you would like the Lent series.

Why I collect it

I use your details to reply to your message, to respond to enquiries about speaking or private work, and, if you joined the waitlist, to let you know when Desert Medicine episodes are ready. I will not add you to any other list without asking.

How it is stored

Form submissions are stored securely with the hosting provider for this site and delivered to my inbox by an email notification service. Access is limited to me and to an assistant who helps me manage enquiries. I keep your details only as long as I need them for the purpose you gave them.

Sharing

I never sell, rent or trade your personal information. I do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires me to.

Analytics

This site may use basic analytics to understand how pages are used, such as which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you.

Health information

Content on this site is education and reflection, not medical advice. Please do not send medical or health details through the forms. If you need care, see your own doctor. In an emergency in Australia, call 000.

Access, correction and removal

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to be removed from the waitlist, at any time.

Contact

For any privacy question or request, or if you have a concern about how your information has been handled, email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
